While roll hunting I found this Penny. Thought it was kind of strange so I set it aside and forgot about it. While looking through some different errors online I sawone that was very simalar under the caped die error. My coin also has a slight mushroom shape to it even though it is not extreme. Do I have a caped die error on my hands?

to CCF. It is a Dryer Coin, not a struck through die cap.

@ch, first welcome to CCF. Second, when we see the rim folded over onto the tops of the letters like with your coin, we typically call this damage from rolling around in a dryer.
