Hi I have 1 1961 and 2 1961 d pennies that stand out from all the others of the same era. The photo is the 1961 compared to a 1964. It has very few flaws except some black dotted lines on the reverse near the One in one cent that can only be seen with a magnifying glass. The other 2 are almost has nice. Are they worth keeping?

Looks like a new coin with light oxidation spots on the reverse, perhaps due to a fingerprint.

Whether they are worth keeping or not is entirely up to you. If you like pennies in your collection these are fine examples of very red ones. For penny collectors red is definitely better than red/brown or brown (like your '64). And of course the farther back you go, the harder it is to find red ones. But these aren't a particularly rare year. So there is not a whole lot of value. But I would definitely put them in 2x2 flips, to keep them form toning. And the flips in a Whitman (or similar) 2x2 holder.

The 61 is mint state red and worth saving. The 64 is common and mint state red ones are easily found, I'd spend it.

with the three fine comments above..protect the 61 (2x2) spend or keep the 64 (if you hoard copper cents)
