Looks like KurtS has hit this on the head. I asked about CCGS from the seller. Response was:
"CCGS is my slab service...i do it to make the coins look good... protect them in shipping and to stop people trading them out and sending me back something else.
I use my opinion, and also an opinion of a couple other collectors that I know in my coin club...hence collector coin grading service.
They are opinions..and I ask people to judge for selves.
I also offer a 100% refund policy including shipping both ways where others do not refund any shipping cost and some even charge a 15% restocking...so it is a no lose for the people I sell to"
Waiting for your feedback

He has a good return policy...that's something if you can see the whole coin in the slab...which isn't always the case; I'll take it in a flip, thank you.

Funny how grade is harder to judge if a seller includes a photo of their whole slab--why? Just show me the coin and I'll decide grade for myself, lol.

I think his policy is good, so long as the pictures of his coins our good enough that you can grade them yourself. And of course, do not bid on what grade he pupt on the holder, but your own grade. If you cannot grade it do to poor picture or just don't have the knowledge to distinguishe an MS65 from an MS66 (or whatever), then pass. IMO
