Had this Lincoln Cent is it struck througj greases filled die error something else or is just damaged. Didnt put the full pic. To me its a very interesting coin. Answering the question if I have to. Its a 1960 Lincoln Cent and that is the reverse side on "STATES" the last "s" is what I am previweing.

@kast, first welcome to CCF. Second, that look like damage to me (not a mint error). Coins that have sat around in parking lots being driven over tend to get these heavy gouges.

Just looks like damage. If you would show a photo of the complete coin,
it might give us a better idea what happened to it.
