1831 Capped Bust Dime (Holed) - Coin Community Forum

CoinHunter27 Pillar of the Community United States 5887 Posts	Posted 01/05/2020 7:57 pm I "rescued" this coin from a big box of mixed US and world coins today at my local show. It's got a small hole but I figured it's a decent addition to the collection for $7. Capped bust coins don't usually come my way for too cheap. I think in the future you should target a VF example. Or, if it doesn't have to be a dime, a EF40 Capped Bust Half is pretty cheap, only around $150. Report this Post to the Staff

If they weren't then they were really worn or beat badly.
