Don't expect to get much help on this one, but asking anyway.

It appears to be a medieval pfennig from somewhere around Germany; of course, medieval pfennigs are supposed to be silver, while this is obviously copper.

Possibly a contemporary counterfeit? Would be neat if it was!

14 mm (side of square), 0.46 grams.

Probably uniface, but I'm not 100% certain. Pretty far gone one way or another.

I want to think I see a lamb striding left on the reverse, which could make it Hungarian https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces72360.html I think eddiediz posted one of these on his thread.

Brabant also has a lamb like this on some 12th/13th c. denars, but the reverse is just a cross.

Or, it's not a lamb, but some other animal.
Or, it's just my imagination.

Errm, that's... pretty definitely not it.

I was thinking of the likes of this, this, or this (among many other candidates), though whatever it is, it's probably not supposed to be copper.
