You really have to have an early die stage coin to see everything here, but this coin is listed by both Wexler and Coppercoins. It is a D/D northwest, but also shows what appear to be 3 additional completely separated D's. No one is really sure if they are all D's, but it's an interesting conversation piece.

Arrows show the 4 extra D's.

Awesome coin, tropicalbats. Thanks for using arrows to show the RPMs. My newbie eyes can get crosseyed looking for what expert eyes like yours can see.... a lot to learn... thanks for showing the cool coin.

Nice variety.
1958 D had a number of rather interesting anomalies around the date and MM that have caused some "conversations".
Such as 8/7, D in the date, die scratch/RPM connecting the MM to the bust, etc.
Sounds like those mint workers may have had some fun at our expense for the last year of the wheat cents.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
