Up for grading

I have never seen circular lines so reminiscent of lathe lines before across the bust like this.

Strange, only the field areas are polished by the mint. I've never see polish lines extend into the devices.

Well, the lines are raised, and 2 of the coins in the same bu roll has them...PMD would not leave raised lines...

Not sure. As I mentioned previously the dies may have been given extra love resulting in the frosted devices and PL fields. Similar to how the SPL (semi-proof-like) morgans exist.

It is definitely part of the die, 2 coins that match, cant be a whizzing. Just never seen anything like that come from the mint.

I agree, part of the die. Very strange. Reverse looks like a very early die state. Maybe, just spit balling, but perhaps this is normal for the first...I don't know....10 coins from each die. And they quickly get polished away by metal flow since they are raised? Honestly just throwing out the first thing that comes to my mind. As an Engineer...it kinda makes sense.

What it really is...( shrugs).

This should be a topic in the errors forum or over at LCR. It has me stumped, lathe lines?
