These fiddly little coins were lost pretty easily - by 1957 all it would buy would be an ice block or a small chocolate bar.

1957 Washington quarter. Raw, MS66 give or take
Type A reverse (ES touch)

Obv: "Cracked Skull" die crack across head; a second die crack through bust.

Rev: Left wing of eagle cracked from base, along edge, up through wing tip, passing through F in OF and out to the rim. A long die scratch (raised on the coin) diagonally bisects E in STATES, R in PLURIBUS and M in UNUM before ending short of the left wing midpoint. Several diagonal die scratches from lowermost inner wreath leaves up to the left through more leaves.
