Hello,

Any help in identifying this weird coin is greatly appreciated. The coin in question seems to be a replica after an older coin; it has some unusual characters and might be something religious since it seems that it has a cross on it. Maybe some old Spanish coin.

It's a bit larger than a Buffalo nickel, about 2.3 cm. I don't know the weight and can't measure it. Because it's quite probable to be a replica it might not have the same size or weight as the original coin.

Spanish or Spanish colonial. Could be 2 reales by the size of it, compare with this: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces61948.html

Not my area of expertise, but it does have a certain replica feel.

Thanks for the hint erafjel! It indeed seems very similar to a reale coin.
