Not sure about books but this site has a lot of varieties and photos. You may already know about it.

Yes there is a two volume set, available at some leading Canadian dealers and appearing frequently on ebay.
'nuff said

DBM thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Last night I ordered the 1858-1936 Illustrated Reference Guide for 5 Cents Coins of Canada.
