Well, it's a "temple token" in Akbar's name, made to resemble a square rupee with the date "988" (which would be AD 1580). But it almost certainly doesn't date from the 1500s. These square tokens with the "988" date are very frequently copied for use as temple tokens; it probably dates from the mid to late 1900s. I would also presume it is not made of silver, since these copies rarely are.

Actual photography is naf it is silver if u want I put photos also on reverse it is printed 9 (noh) ^ ^(8 8) as 8 is indicated ^ ya I agree there are coins 9M which were copied in 1900 as M is no wher arabic or farsi
