I bought my 1853 example of the gold Dollar, for £1 10/-, at a coin show in Didsbury (suburb of Manchester), waaay back in 1971. I also bought a newly issued copper nickel 1970 Australian Captain Cook bicentennial dodecagonal 50 Cents.
