This is a particularly common piece which is number 5243O (that's letter "O") in Andrew WHITTLESTONE & Michael EWING's Royal Commemorative Medals 1837 - 1977 Volume 5. King George the Fifth 1910 - 1936. First Edition, Galata, 2012.

In that book there is the comment "This medal must have the largest production of this series which resulted in many die varieties".

The medal was made by Vaughton for the makers of Elect Cocoa, Rowntree and Co.
