It would help to have in-focus pictures of both sides with a diameter and a weight.

A jeton would be my guess, but I can't quite make out the inscription. It looks like "GETTOS BICH PANES..." - "GETTOS" I would assume being jeton, or token, and "PANES" being Latin for bread. Unfortunately, Google is insisting on re-interpreting my search for that phrase as "ghettoes beach planes" and wants to show me pictures of aircraft landing on St Martin, so not much help there, I'm afraid.
