1909 VDB Possible Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Wheat Cent Found CRH... What Do You Think?

Upon closer inspection this appears it could be a possible DDO variety. I'm curious what the more educated here think as well as if it may be worth getting graded. Thanks in advance! coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/15/2020 12:35 pm Slight Machine Doubling. The die was over polished and reduced the fields making the devices and design weaker. But it is a desirable coin, just not a doubled die. The DDO would look like these on the doubled dies: While the 001 looks like Machine Doubling it is not. Note the devices are wider on the date and Liberty. On the 1102 on the date. Note the SE loop is wider in that direction. Edited by coop 01/15/2020 12:37 pm Report this Post to the Staff
