shows sings of heat and copper flacking but might be just dmg over time, what you guys think? wieght @ 4.97.

"sintered plating" Copper, red, black, brown, and gray are colors typically found in these errors. Coverage can be complete or incomplete. The copper can range from a slight tinge to a thick coating.

I would say Environmental Staining with that gunk on the both sides of the coin not a heated coin. Also the shape it's in, it's a spender not even 2x2 worthy.

I agree with above, your coin shows an environmental damage due to exposure to some form of fluid.
