Received this coin as a gift a while ago. It appears that someone noticed the corrosion, attempted to improperly clean/remove it, and then stopped after realizing what it was doing to the coin. Still, a fairly nice coin aside from the cleaning and corrosion. I'm in the XF details cleaned, corroded area. What do you think? Thanks!

i have the reverse at F15 and obverse at VF20. I may be way off on this one but I cant get past VF20 details on this coin. just too much wear and if the 'W' wasn't showing I would be at F15

It's kind of strange, the way "WE" wore (hey, Barbara Streisand!).

I give it VF-30.

That is true. I don't think I have an example in my collection with a full E yet.
