Hi there jellis, your top banknote is 100 million marks from Germany's hyperinflation period in the 1920's. Huge amounts of these were printed at the time. Maybe worth about £2, I think that is what I paid for mine, if that helps.
THe SA Boer War notes are a first sight for me. I believe that the note dated 25-5-1900 is cataloged in the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money Volume 2 (Commonly called both Krause or Pick) as P-42a and the note dated 1-4-1901 is cataloged as P48c. My catalog is quite old, and the values listed are not useful. Based on prices sold in past auctions, I'd say that they would be about $50.00 each - though I did see one that had both the same types sell for $55 last year.
