I came across this penny and pulled it for further inspection initially due to the word "Liberty" looking slightly mishaped. Under a digital microscope the phrase "In God We Trust" also had some irregularity, especially in the "R" and "S" in "Trust" and slightly in the "G" and "D" in "God", as well as the word "Liberty".

I'm still new and learning all the time, would this be considered a DDO? Or just a simple MD?

I have enclosed pictures, all of the same coin, but turned with light shining from different directions to try and show as truly as I can what I am seeing. Thank you.

P.s. The very bottom of Lincoln's ear lobe also looks interesting if you have a take on that as well?

Looks like Machine Doubling and also the lighting maybe an issue as well. Two light sources alter images on the micro images. But I feel it is not hub doubling. It is just Machine Doubling.

to CCF. Use one light source and put a filter on it.

@coop I thought it was MD as well but the R and S in trust was throwing me off. Thank you for the clarification I appreciate your response!

@John1 I'm sorry for asking but what do you mean put a filter on it?

And my microscope has a light source where it initially is shining on the coin but I am also surrounded by bright white light in the room I'm in which is what I meant from different light sources. I will turn those off and try again.
