Hello everyone, my name is Barbara but everyone can call me Barb. I'm very new to the coin collecting world, so I really would appreciate any/ all advise please
I currently came across 2 Mercury dimes one is 1920 the other is , I believe a 1923 both not in good condition can anyone give some advice on these 2 coins?

Everyone else, is of course correct; however we can give you some general advice in the meantime.

Regradless of the coins book value the least each coin is worth is 1 dollar (each). That is the silver value

The second thing is that on the back, on the bottom left side of the column you will see either and "S", a "D" or nothing. The S means it was made in San francisco; a D in Denver and nothing means it was made in Philly.

The same year coin can have widely different values based on where it was made.
