doesn't seem to be a gas bubble and the shape appears to somewhat mimic the shape of the ear? just a random gouge/ dent?
I know my camera is old and pics are not 100% oriented...i try..but I have to spin the coin to get a desired pic of the issue for you to see. same goes for the flash on these but also please use it to reference height shape etc...
I really appreciate your knowledge and quick response(s) on the coins I question, helps me immensely by not speculating over and over, yet never really knowing.
To save your time quick responses are ok with me. if I dont understand I will ask for more in depth explanation

I`ve seen a chart with a dozen different Lincoln ears. I think I saw it on youtube. The way you spit hairs, your on your way
