Hi all, not sure if it could possibly leave the mint like this or if its been scraped down? Its odd because all the flat spots have that same pattern, so higher or lower doesn't matter. also, it weighs the same as a normal 50c.

Looks like PMD to me.
To confirm, need to post high quality close up pictures,
showing texture of the metal surfaces in the areas in question.
