1987 Penny - Mint Error Or Normal Wear?

KJ85ansi New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 01/24/2020 12:59 am Found this interesting penny and I'm curious if this is a mint error or just a type of natural wear/degradation. The issue is indentation on the left side. I am not a collector, just enjoy learning about numismatics! Thanks in advance for any help you can give! I really started to have an interest after visiting a numismatics exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago in 2016, but I've always looked for different coins and currency to collect.
