Alex Swanson Valued Member United States 74 Posts	Posted 10/14/2008 8:42 pm I came upon a strange 1944-D cent with what seems to me a piece of metal that fell in during production (looks like a staple), and fell out again during circulation. Either that or it was damaged post production.
