tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7939 Posts	Posted 01/24/2020 3:15 pm I don't know, but it looks like the kind of of souvenir that might be sold at or around Independence Park in Philadelphia, along the mall in Washington D.C. (e.g., Library of COngress), or at Monticello, as these words are from the Declaration of Independence. Without a date (1876? 1976?), it seems less likely that it was commemorating something. I agree with @tdz that it most likely was made for tourists though. It looks to me like the hole was not part of the original design. Added: I thought it odd and distinctive that the two words "OF HAPPINESS" are out of order with respect to the initial parts of the phrase "LIFE LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT".
