Hi, I might have mentioned this before in a different post, but is there any website that allows you to search a serial number from a bill, and it will give information of what series it is, and more information about it...? I have a silver certificate, but it is only one half (the left side) of it, and I am wondering about what series it was printed in and such... Thanks!

You could narrow the search down by the signature you have on the left side.

For example is the last name of the signature on a $1 Silver Certificate is Tate you would have a 1928 series note, if the last name is Woods then you have either a 1928A,1928B or 1928C series.

I'm not sure if there is any other way.
