Excellent BIE Die Chip 1955 D LWC Plus DDO Like Date

Found this while looking through some wheaties.

Based on my knowledge of Doubled die coins, it is not a DDO, but the date does look a bit thicker, especially the 1 and the 5s.

My guess it isn't doubled, but, still a nice die chip!

Looks like light circulation damage on the date.

Have found a couple that look almost exactly like this! Good one! Always fun finds. Been through 30+ rolls of 1950's LWC this month, and see a lot thick dates and text very similar to this.

Also as the die ages, the devices get distorted, usually in the direction of the closest rim.
