Ok so I have two pennies. One is what I believe to be a double strike when being pressed. You can even see the line edge of where the penny edge would be. I found it my dads collection. And he wrote 1975 mint error.

And second is a 1976 Penny that is gold looking. The pics dont take the color very good. But it is definitely a very strange gold color. And it weighs 3.11g instead of 2.5g of which it should be. Any info would be helpful.

to CCF. The 75-D is a nice error called an "indent error" the other looks like it was plated after it left the mint.Check ebay sold values for an idea on value on the indent.I recommend putting the indent in a new 2x2 holder, and make sure to flatten staples on all of your 2x2 holders.

@seth first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree that you '76 cent was plated after it left the mint. Also, the weight on that piece is correct.

Thanks for the info. ebay has indents from 7.00 bucks all the way up to 800.00 bucks. So I have no idea on value.

Are the 1982 copper large date and small date pennies worth anything. I have both large date and small date in both copper and zinc pennies. I have several plastic sleeves like this. Between pennies and nickles. All labeled like this. My dad used to collect them. When I was younger.

The only 1982 cent with any great value is the
copper 1982D small date. The others unless a
high MS grade aren't worth much more than face.
