Rlewis87 Valued Member United States 453 Posts	Posted 01/31/2020 6:12 pm A friend asked me to post this coin on the forum for some more knowlegeable information than what I could give him on this coin. To me it looks like a badly altered coin to make it look like a 1804. The date just looks off. I figured I would see what you guys think was the actual date if at all possible and see if you have any insight into the coin and its value at this point. Report this Post to the Staff

It would have about 5-10 % of value of the most common date draped bust Half Dollar of equivalent condition. To me, this coin has been vandalized. That is why it is a crying shame.
