My Wheat Penny Sticks To Magnet But Too Rusted To See The Date

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/04/2020 11:47 am Weight for your coin should be in the 2.7gram range. Higher or lower, will probably not be a steel coin. When I say attracted to a magnet, I mean it should leap from the surface it sits on to the magnet if it is steel. If you have a steel washer, you can test to out to see the attraction I'm talking about. It should leap. Try it and you will see what I mean. Report this Post to the Staff
