1993 D LMC possible doubled die or error? Any help is appreciated. The penny is very colorful and shiny some getting good pictures was hard

I see DDD. And possibly a die chip above the 9.

Can we have a better photo of the date?

Here are some better photos. And also I'm referring to the piece that is above the 9, not the outline surrounding the date.

Well I'm not sure what's happening, but I made sure to rotate the pictures before posting and it switched back to being sideways.

Looks like MD or DDD.

And yes that is a die chip at the top of the 9.

Interesting.

A couple of things come to mind. But it looks too symmetrical (with "corners") to be a die chip or gouge. As well defined and raised in relief as it is I would expect to see more nearby devices visible if it were a DDO.
It appears securely bonded/adhered to the surface of the coin.
IMHO, I'm leaning towards a planchet flaw or defect before/during the plating process.

EDIT: Can you provide a clear image of the reverse, please?
