Hello again. I'm sorry to be asking for help again deciding if the guy that buys coins is offering me a fair price. I know very little about pricing them except double dies are worth more, right. But after reading about someone else asking about DD's I'd rather be humble and ask instead of loosing a good coin for very little money. He is only offering me $3 for this coin but when he examined it was very intent on the back so I took a closer look myself. I can see what may be double die, but it could be a machine error as well. Please help me decide. And any suggestion on value would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

to CCF. Don't know if it is a DDO because you posted a pic of the reverse. Looks like MD though.

Very common to see this on the larger sized devices. But if it were a doubled die, a side by side will show you the differences on a cent and some tape:

My mistake I thought DDO was double die obverse as in reverse (back of coin) thank you though for you help.

DDO=Doubled-Die-Obverse
DDR=Doubled-Die-Reverse
RPM=Re-Punched-Mintmark.
