In hand it looks to be MS-65 RED. In the photos showing every flaw more like MS-64 RB. We shall see what PCGS has to say about it soon enough.

And someone else out there certainly saw this one as I paid a bucket of money for it as a cherrypick!

Why do you think the seller never had it slabbed?

Nice snag TB.

Probably didn't get it slabbed because they didn't realize the variety. Plus they may not be confident grading and chancing the $.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

If the seller knew this was a variety, I think they'd have put it in the item title. Hard to believe they would put up a coin this expensive and just hope someone sees the RPM, knows what it is worth, and is willing to pay a ton for it (times two since it was an auction and two have to bid for it to go high).

Dang I missed that one but been busy lately. Thinking about it I bet you would have outbid me. I'm guessing mine is 63-4 RB but much more on the brown side. They might RB it just because of the area under IN or it could just be the pic. In any event awesome coin.

Yea you would have outbid me. I've been buying so much lately I've got to send some into TPG and sell some to buy more!!

Wow! That's a grand slam RPM amazing how elusive these are in comparison to the years mintage. This die must have suffered catastrophic early failure or else mint quality control pulled it? Another variety veiled in mystery. Bam Bam Bam and yet another Bam whew he/she must have been mad about something.

Hey Cammy! Where the heck have you been? Thought maybe you froze to a stump out there this winter and maybe get found in the spring. Good to hear from ya.
