1979 Washington Quarter Error? - Coin Community Forum

Recently my daughter and I have been getting into the wonderful world of coin collecting, just as a hobby we can do together. While looking through my pocket change the other night I realized that this quarter looked a little different. To the right of Washington's head there appears to be a T stamped perpendicular to him. Upon light and magnification it looks like there is an S to the left of that. Much less pronounced. I have been unable to find any information on this. Can anyone shed any light?
