I've been recently looking at some of my counterstamped coins etc and discovered this oldie tucked in the back.
It's always intrigued me about the origin and who they were.

14 APR I F 1784
T N remnants of host coin @2o'c
Found at an early colonial site in Canada
Copper alloy 7.60g 27-28m diameter 2mm thick
Crudely made and possibly given at a engagement or wedding
It's the only one I have and haven't looked at these too closely before but it seems it was a thing to do way back in the day by the amount I see out there on auction sites etc
