At least it starts to show the great range of 'bodies' that issued notgeld. There are plenty of others for collectors to collect and enjoy. This little project has opened my eyes to another way of looking out for pieces - they don't even have to be particularly expensive to get, which is a bonus.

This has started me on a big notgeld project. Only because of the CCF forum, did I start this topic - so thanks CCF! It's great to be enjoying my collection, but from another perspective. I'm now creating a further list and will let you know here if I find a really interesting or obscure one or two.........

An interesting piece this : issued by a sugar factory and which has a face-value in an amount of that commodity - (ie) 10 lbs of sugar!: As hper-inflation was at its peak, the idea behind this was to stabilise the currency. This note would still be worth 10 lbs of sugar in a week or 2 weeks time!

This could be 'endless' but it is getting me searching out those different types, which is good in itself. Here is a piece issued by a 'Bauinindustrie': Construction Companies

@expat - Super. These 'Deutsche Reichbahn' notes are covered off in my listing under 'Railways - (The German State Railways)'. There are several different pieces for a collector..........different face values and different places of issue. Your piece is from Berlin but there are some from Stuttgart, Altona, Breslau, Cassel, Dresden.........the list goes on and on.
