What do all of you think about it? Minting error or purposefully cut and shaped. * Edited by Staff to crop and/or rotate images. Please crop and correctly orient images before uploading. Double bites are very scarce, but because on nearly opposite sides of the coin in this case, makes the Blakesley Effect hard to identify. For this reason, the nature of the cuts themselves have to be very carefully examined by an experienced professional numistmatist. Report this Post to the Staff

If they fit nicely it does not prove your coin is a genuine error. but helps. However, if they fit badly, then your error is a fake error made after minting. Report this Post to the Staff
