Hi, I am wondering about the grade of this mercury dome. Also, would this type of toning be considered attractive or unattractive? Thanks!

This kind of toning is not attractive to me . The coin has visual hits and scratches on obverse and the toning can be hiding much more . AU-55/58 .

I'll say AU-58. Somehow this coin has the look of one that was an "accidental survivor" rather than a collector coin.

I'll say AU-55. Toning is officially considered damage, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Sometimes I like toning, but not on this one, sorry.

I have to agree with the last 2 posts, surface doesn't appear natural. AU-detail.
