Today's mail brought the promised wooden dollar for we Knights of the Coin Table. Very nice, and all thanks to Terry. Each Knight will get one, and they will serve as a nice keepsake, plus could become a collectible some day. Thanks Terry!

Also, What a small world. Terry sent me an e-mail telling me how he had met a friend of mine -- in Indiana! Actually the friend is a young man I had in class during my teaching days. His father is one of my oldest, and best friends. The father called me with news of the encounter shortly after I read Terry's e-mail. The guy Terry met attended Delta High School, and was one year behind our youngest son. His bother was in the same class as our oldest son.

As amazing as this is, we often times run into people we know when taking vacations. It has happened twice in California, twice in Florida, and once on a cruise. With a 300 million population, you wouldn't think it would happen, but it does -- often. Small world!

You really needed to be there to see the look on his face when I asked him, after learning he was from Gary's hometown, if he knew Gary! I went for the kill when I asked him about Mitch, Gary's son! He was literally shocked that I knew either one of them! I might add the young man putting on this program was one of the best instructor/lecturers I have ever sat in the same room with. Must be something to the Rocky Mountain air or Coors or is it just Colorado? One thing is for sure, I have never met anyone from Colorado that I didn't like but have yet convinced any of them to adopt me and take me home to the mountains!!!
