Thought I would share my most recently finished (yesterday) work of art with you - actually the best I've ever done to date, and I'm rather excited about it. It's the first one in line (I list them most recent first) on my art site, www.cdaughtrey.com

I am also happy to announce that this portrait will grace the frontispiece (inside front cover page) of a book on Flying Eagle and Indian Head cents by Q. David Bowers and Rick Snow to be published by Whitman Books within the next couple of months.

My next work will be of John Flanagan, the designer of the Washington quarter, which will also be displayed in a quarter book authored by Q. David Bowers, and is to be released late this Spring. The drawing will be finished and available by March 1st.

A small image of the same thing for those who don't want to follow the link:

CD...

Wanted to let you know I think you have done a super job on your sites and I didn't know you were so talented. It's been a long time and just wanted to say "HI" and how have you been?

This is Benny or BBWA from the past.

Ben
Rest in Peace

Awesome. I can't even draw a straight line on a computer, let alone free hand.
