1971 D KHD With D In Neck (Coin 20200212-001)

I found this one while CRH. I was ready to drop it in the spend bucket as PMD, but it looks like there is a "D" in the neck that matches the size and shape of the "D" in GOD". There is obviously a lot of PMD on this coin, so I am having problems separating what happened when the coin was stamped from damage that occurred later. I am curious on what people think happened to this coin at the mint and whether it has anything that makes it worth keeping? As always, all input is welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!

PMD. This coin was not minted with any of the damage your coins is showing.

That is not a "D" on his neck. It is just another indentation from
whatever made the other similar marks.
You can see where the metal was displaced. Also suffers from severe DD.
It's a spender.
