Maxnick New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 02/14/2020 6:40 pm First, I would to say thank you for accepting me into the coin community forum. I recently inherited a few coins And as I was going through them and checking the values I realized a 2003 proof quarter has a different design then the normal 2003 quarter. Would this be considered an error because I've tried and I'm having trouble finding one like it. I've attached a picture, I'm a novice so I appreciate any help you can offer. Dave42 Pillar of the Community United States 571 Posts	Posted 02/19/2020 12:13 pm Yep, you can just see where it is stamped "COPY" on Washington's head. They have to do that for legal reasons, or else it would be considered a counterfeit coin. Very cool "coin" though! Report this Post to the Staff
