1970 Penny S Mint Mark

I have two question one is is this a large or small date and 2nd if you look at the 0 in 1970 the 0 is not connected and it looks lik er it came from the mint that way but would like some advise.

Hard to tell from you photos... please post bigger photos and orient them correctly. This will help you get good answers ;)

Here is a reference for what to look for... Pay attention to the shape of the "9" and the positioning (level) of the "7" to help you determine if it is small or large date 1970 S.

The date devices are different die numbers:
1970-Penny-S-Mint-Mark
Thus the difference on the center curve of the '9'.
