I know that to many of you this is a rather boring common silver dollar, and I agree. But at the time I bought it I didn't have much of a clue. I bought it, paid too much for it and I still own it.

But the reason I am posting all my dollars in order is to learn. Even though I graded this over 3 years ago, I still think it's probably pretty close. Possibly a 40 but I still lean 45. What I still don't have a good understanding of though is cleanings. Particularly old and subtle cleanings. I get scrubbing and whizzing, but not the subtle stuff, and that's why I'm posting this boring 1921.

Has it been cleaned or just circulated? If you think it's been cleaned, can you explain what makes you think so? There are 4 more boring dollars after this one and I would appreciate the same explanations on all if you can. Thanks

So what do you think?

Not boring , but a great way to learn about dollars......go to a good coin shop or book store and buy
one of the many excellent research books on Morgan and Peace dollars, or even a book on Early Dollars.
Then read and reread them.
Your knowledge will expand a great deal .
I have been following your posts and for the most part your coins are all fairly common and are pretty much bullion plus.
That is certainly not meant to be hurtful in any way .
A lot of people get interested in much the same way as you have and take the next step .
That is how a lot of good to great collections get a start , good luck!
