I found this very small penny, with no rim / edge, and is much smaller than a normal penny. It also doesn't have the normal back. Attached are the pics, this worth anything?

Coin was cut. Check the edge of the coin. All you will see is zinc.

It would be nice to see this edited coin with a dime next to it to see if they were going with that. Side by side of coin with a dime and an edge show of the two to see how they compare in height?

My wife said this happens when a penny get stuck in the washing machine. I can't really believe that the coin would diminish in size that much.

But, the inside of the coin is the exact same size as a regular penny. I thought it was smaller, but it is really just a penny without the edge, or he edge worn off.
