Hi,

I'm a volunteer at a local wildlife charity and have been asked to sell a coin collection donated to them but I'm having trouble identifying this particular coin. It is a thin silver coin and I've attached a scan of both sides of the coin below:

@tl, first welcome to CCF. Second, that piece isn't a coin, but rather a token. There are many varieties of these Nuremburg Tokens, but here are a couple links to more information:

Correct; it's a Nuremberg jeton. It is made of brass, not silver. The manufacturer is Hans Krauwinckel II, token-master of the Krauwinkel family from 1586-1635.
