This nickel looks like it's die was clogged and something is off with the metal. Don't know if they're related. I've thought about listing it for sale and would like some help describing the errors. Notice that it has strong steps.

What is the weight? If it was under weight, it might be weaker strike.

Did you check your scale with another nickel to see if it is close. I would save for now. It could be a Struck Through Grease, but even then the weight and the rims would be full. It maybe a lot under what weight you are seeing. Seems like a soft strike.

Coop,don't you think the rim is a little too strong for a weak strike? I was thinking Grease Filled Die?

I get 5.0 g with an uncirculated nickel.
