Was looking at my coins when I came upon this 1918 Wheat penny, then I noticed the 1 on 18 looks like the number 8. I searched the web and haven't come across anything like it. It seems to have other errors as well. Could this possibly be a new error, please help!!

What you are describing is impossible to happen during the striking of the coin.
It is PMD and wear.

I am afraid all you have is a very well worn 1918 Wheat cent. Even if there was an error, it's so very worn it wouldn't have added value. It's value is only that of a Wheatie, about 3 cents. Keep hunting!
