1979 D Dollar Strike And Finish Errors

This was in a roll of SBA dollar coins. I originally thought it was just grimey and other coins left impressions in the discolored areas.

But if that were the case, the second Earth imprint on the reverse should be a negative image.
What is wrong with this coin

It wasn't struck like that. Looks like it has been around the block, several times.

to CCF. Looks like some kind of staining. It did not leave the mint like that,no error it is PMD. You can try soaking it in 100% pure acetone and see if it comes clean.

Thanks felluhs. I used acetone to remove the surface crud. The stamp of the extra EARTH is still there. Still reflects the light to reveal it is not backwards.. the elyptical shape is prominently visible
